ualifiers for the 2013 World Magic Cup will be run across the world on three weekends in the coming months, providing thousands of players the opportunity to represent their countries on Magic's biggest stage. To make the experience even better, an alternate-art Vengevine will be given to all participants (while supplies last) and Top 8 players will earn an exclusive World Magic Cup Qualifier Top 8 playmat.
World Magic Cup Qualifiers will be run the weekends of April 6–7, April 20–21, and June 1–2, in seventy-one countries. Each country's three World Magic Cup Qualifiers will be held on separate weekends. You can find qualifiers for your country by visiting the Event Locator.
All World Magic Cup Qualifiers will be run in the Standard format.
A full list of countries running World Magic Cup Qualifiers, as well as the 2013 Yearly Award Planeswalker Points needed to earn an invitation to the qualifiers, is listed below. All 2012–13 Pro Tour Players Club Silver, Gold, and Platinum members and Pro Tour Hall of Famers are automatically invited to their country's World Magic Cup Qualifiers.
Winners of World Magic Cup qualifiers earn an invitation and airfare to the World Magic Cup, to be held August 2-4, in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The overall prize pool for the World Magic Cup has been increased to $250,000 this year.
