Congratulations to Stefan Jedlicka, Champion of Grand Prix Prague!
The Top 8 contained such glittering name players as Anton Jonsson, Jelger Wiegersma, Gabriel Nassif, and Raphael Levy. The decks were also frighteningly good. Thomas Gunderson had Visara and two Infest. Levy had three Echo Tracer and two Lavamancer's Skill. Wiegersma had Dragon Roost and Akroma's Vengeance.
Yet through this the unfancied Austrian piloted a solid red-green deck with beats and burn to the final where he took Frenchman Raphael Levy down with a finely aimed Erratic Explosion to the head.
The Austrian takes home $2400 and now has a chance to travel to his first Pro Tour in Yokohama.
