Terry's opening pack contained just a couple of great picks, but the standouts were
Aether Burst,
Aven Windreader, and
Wild Mongrel. Tsang took the Mongrel and ran with it, following the hound up with a
Rabid Elephant,
Werebear,
Firebolt, and another
Werebear in the first pack.
At this point it was clear to Tsang that not only was he the beat down, but he looked to garner more in the second pack. This deck was going to need threshold and Rites of Initiation would help him out with that; probably winning him the game the turn he casts it.
The next pack of Odyssey was not kind to Tsang, and reaped no benefits from passing excellent blue cards in the first pack in favor of quick red and green beat down cards.
Mike Turian, two positions to Tsang's right sucked up all of the good red in Torment, though Tsang managed two Temporary Insanities and his open, Gurzigost.
While Tsang's deck is lacking in combat tricks, if it gets to threshold he should be in fine shape.
