Congratulations to Uri Peleg and the Switzerland National Team, your 2007 Magic World Champions. Peleg defeated Patrick Chapin 3-1 in the Individual Final with a green-black Standard deck armed heavy-hitters such as Doran, the Siege Tower, Garruk Wildspeaker, and Liliana Vess, negating Chapin's explosive re-tooled Dragonstorm deck featuring Spinerock Knoll. The Swiss took down Austria in two games of the Two-Headed Giant World Team Final.
