The World Championship starts on Thursday, but public events will start Wednesday! Join us on Wednesday, December 8 for the start of public events. We will sign-up and run 8-player, single-elimination events from 17:00 to 20:00. All Booster Drafts will be ¥ 500 and all constructed events will be free!! (While supplies last)

The Finals and The Limits

The oldest continually running tournament program in Japan, The Finals has been a proving ground for top-level and up-and-coming Japanese players since 1995. Traditionally taking place at the end of the year (hence the name--the "final" tournament of the year), The Finals has grown over the years, expanding from a Championship with one qualifier, to having multiple regional qualifiers, to the system in place today which has WPN store-based qualifiers feeding regional qualifiers which feed the championship. Do you have what it takes to be the "King of Constructed" in Japan? Play in a Finals Qualifier and find out!

Complete information about The Finals can be found here.

The Limits was introduced in 2006 as a companion program to The Finals. As the name implies, The Limits allows players to showcase their Limited format play skill. The highlight of The Limits is certainly the elimination rounds of the Championship, which is played out using an all-foil rotisserie draft of the current expansion. But to get there, players first have to go through three rounds each of Sealed Deck and Booster Draft. Are you practiced enough to master the Scars of Mirrodin Limited format? Try your hand in a Limits Qualifier and find out!

Complete information about The Limits can be found here.
