Magic Weekend San Francisco features the best public events of the year. There's a packed schedule of events anyone can play in featuring many Constructed formats and special Limited events, plus fan activities, game shows, trading, and much more for every type of Magic player.

ATTENTION: All Magic Weekend San Francisco attendees will be required to show photo identification before entering the event hall. If you are unable to show picture ID, you may be denied entry. Wizards of the Coast encourages you to arrive early at the Fort Mason Center to avoid potential delays.

Wednesday Events!

Magic Weekend San Francisco's public events will start on Wednesday the 16th! We will sign up and run 8-player, single-elimination events from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. All Booster Drafts will be $10 and all Constructed events will be $5. The 2011 World Championships start on Thursday, November 17.

Whenever you register for any public event at Magic Weekend San Francisco, you will receive a premium foil copy of Ajani Goldmane (one per person per event, while supplies last).

Weekend-Long Public Events

Single-Elimination Events

Weekend-long Public Events have no specific start time. Registration for these events is continuously open and each event will start once the appropriate number of players has registered (Subject to space and judge availability). Public Events are available during the following hours:

Registration Opens: 11:00 AM on Thursday, 9:00 AM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Registration Closes: 8:00 PM each night

Booster Draft events will be run using Innistrad boosters.

Scheduled Public Events

The following applies to all scheduled Public Events at Magic Weekend San Francisco:

• Registration opens 1 hour before each event's scheduled start time and closes 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. Players should be seated at least 5 minutes before the scheduled start time.
• Booster pack prizes will be awarded based on attendance. Unless otherwise posted, top finishing players will receive current set boosters. Special events may offer special prizes as posted (i.e. Xbox® system, Magic foil set, Magic foil uncut sheet, etc); in such events the winner of the special prize will receive only that prize.
• All public events have a Planeswalker Points multiplier of 5x.

Pro Tour Qualifiers

Pro Tour Qualifiers held at Magic Weekend San Francisco and the 2011 World Championships also award an invitation and a travel award to a specific Pro Tour tournament for the top-finishing competitor. For more information, visit www.wizards.com/protour

* Travel:
The players eligible to receive a travel award will receive instructions from Wizards of the Coast regarding whom they must contact and the deadline by which they must arrange their travel awards. Wizards of the Coast will not refund travel made outside this service. Wizards of the Coast reserves the right to award a cash equivalent award in lieu of any travel award in its sole discretion.

All travel itineraries must be from the international airport nearest the player's home and to the host city of the applicable Pro Tour or World Championship or event, and must include all the dates of that event. No award will be substituted if member is unable to participate. All other expenses are the responsibility of the member and may include, without limitation, accommodations, ground transportation, taxes, itinerary change fees, passport and visa fees.

This award must be redeemed through member's arrangement of travel itinerary no later than (30) days before departure. Failure to complete travel arrangements as directed by Wizards of the Coast prior to this deadline will result in forfeiture of the award. Every member receiving a travel award must provide to Wizards of the Coast an executed liability release, the appropriate US taxation form (W9 or W8) (or have one on file), current contact information (http://webapp.wizards.com/dcimember/), proof of ID and passport (when required by international destination). In all cases, all such documentation must be provided to Wizards of the Coast, or previously on file, at least thirty (30) days before departure. Failure to timely provide such documentation will result in forfeiture of the award.

Players under the age of eighteen (18) at the time of the applicable Pro Tour or World Championship will receive a cash equivalent award in lieu of expenses, paid air ticket, and/or hotel accommodations. Such player must still attend, compete, and be listed in the finish of the tournament or forfeit this award.

All awards:
Players must attend, compete (though not necessarily on the same team), and be listed as finishing in the applicable tournament for which he or she received the award. Failure to comply with these requirements will result in forfeiture of the award.

All taxes are the responsibility of the members, and members acknowledge Wizards' recommendation that they consult a tax advisor in their jurisdictions for questions regarding their tax liabilities.
Awards are subject to availability and may be changed and/or other awards substitute without notice, at Wizards sole discretion.
