Grand Prix Tournament Format and Schedule
Grand Prix Paris is a two-day event that is open to the public. Day One is Scars of Mirrodin / Mirrodin Besieged Sealed Deck and will be held on Saturday, February 12. Day Two is Scars of Mirrodin / Mirrodin Besieged Booster Draft and will be held on Sunday, February 13, with a Scars of Mirrodin / Mirrodin Besieged Booster Draft Top 8. Registration for the Grand Prix will be on Thursday, February 10 and Friday, February 12 from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. each day. Note: There will be no Saturday morning registration for the Grand Prix. Be sure to register on Thursday or Friday to ensure a spot in the Grand Prix.
Pro Tour Tournament Format and Schedule
Pro Tour Paris is a three-day invitation-only Standard and Scars of Mirrodin / Mirrodin Besieged Booster Draft format event with an Standard Top 8. Day One will be held on Thursday, February 10, Day Two on Friday, February 11, and then the Top 8 on Sunday, February 13. Note: The Last-Chance Qualifier for Pro Tour Paris will take place at Espace Charenton approximately 20 minutes from the Magic Weekend venue. From Paris-Orly airport to the venue
1. Get the shuttle bus «Paris par le train» from Paris-Orly to the RER C station «Pont de Rungis Aéroport d’Orly».
- If you arrive from Paris-Orly South, the shuttle bus stops at entrance F
- If you arrive from Paris-Orly West, the shuttle bus stops at entrance G Arrival level.
2. From the station «Pont de Rungis Aéroport d’Orly», take the RER C heading for « Pontoise» to the station «Pereire Levallois».
3. From «Pereire Levallois», take the line number 3 in the subway, heading for «Pont de Levallois Bécon» to the station «Porte de Champerret».
4. Follow the map and walk from the station «Porte de Champerret» to the Espace Champerret.
From Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport to the venue
The station «Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 1» serves terminals 1 and 3. The station «Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2 - TGV» serves terminals 2 ABCDEF and G. Terminal 2G is linked to terminal 2C
1. Take the RER B heading «Robinson Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse» to the station «Gare du Nord».
2. From «Gare du Nord», take the line number 4 in the subway, heading for «Porte d’Orléans» to the station «Réaumur-Sébastopol».
3. From «Réaumur-Sébastopol», take the line number 3 in the subway, heading for «Pont de Levallois Bécon» to the station «Porte de Champerret».
5. Follow the map and walk from the station « Porte de Champerret » to the Espace Champerret.

Come one, come all to participate in five days of events open to the public. Starting Wednesday with the Last-Chance Qualifier, there are tournaments, drafts, Magic Commander, and open dueling all weekend. Magic Weekend Paris will also play host to a few extra-special events, highlighted by Grand Prix Paris on Saturday and Sunday. Public event prizes include invitations and airfare to Pro Tour Nagoya, foil card sets, an Xbox gaming system, iPods, Power 9 cards, and much more!

PLAYER OF THE YEAR SHOWDOWN
Brad Nelson and Guillaume Matignon will battle at Magic Weekend Paris in a best-of-seven match to determine the winner of the 2010 Player of the Year award. The two players finished in a tie for the title at the 2010 World Championships. The showdown will take place Saturday, February 12 starting at 9 a.m., during the three-round bye period of Grand Prix Paris. Here's how the schedule breaks down:
- Games 1-2: Standard
- Games 3-4: Double Sealed Deck
- Game 5*: Double Sealed Deck
- Games 6-7*: Standard
* if necessary
Both players will use the same decks they played in the Standard portion of Pro Tour Paris. The Double Sealed Deck portion will consist of six Scars of Mirrodin booster packs and six Mirrodin Besieged booster packs.
