A centerpiece of early American history, Philadelphia is the fifth-largest city in the United States. The city's central location in the original 13 colonies meant that it was a focal point for America's revolutionaries. The Declaration of Independence was signed here in 1776 and many national historic sites are popular tourist attractions. Home to the Liberty Bell and the cheesesteak, Philadelphia offers a wide range of activities for visitors.

Ground Transportation from Philadelphia International Airport

Philadelphia International Airport is located just 7.2 miles southwest of Central Philadelphia. The Ground Transportation System at the airport is an extensive network of taxicab, car rental, shuttle-bus, limousine, and van operations working to get you where you want to go in a safe, courteous and efficient manner. In addition, the Airport also offers SEPTA bus and regional rail service to Downtown Philadelphia and points in between. For more information, visit www.phl.org or www.septa.org.
