Don't just read about D&D's latest news and announcements -- listen to them as well! And where better to find inside information than from the very halls of Wizards of the Coast.

In this episode—the last D&D podcast of 2010—we wanted to have a different sort of conversation. Normally, we invite you into the halls of Wizards of the Coast to discuss the books, games and novels we’ve been working on in recent months. But it’s the end of the year, and folks have the holidays in mind—so this episode, we look back at the books, games and movies that we’ve enjoyed and have influenced us this past year. We also look ahead to 2011, and predict a few things on the horizon that excite us. So sit back, relax… and remember all those 20’s you’ve rolled throughout 2010!

This Podcast: A Year in Review

00:10—Mike Mearls and guest host Rodney Thompson discuss the year that was.

16:37—What’s coming up in 2011 for Mike and Rodney.

23:10—We turn our attention to Chris Perkins and his year in review. What’s in store for him and Acquisitions Inc.?

25:25—And now, Greg Bilsland faces the questions.

31:30—Taking a turn in front of the microphone instead of garbling the sound behind it, Bart Carroll offers his thoughts.

34:05—What the heck, we’ve strayed pretty far afield from D&D already, so why not add some football predictions? (Note: Who did Mike pick last year? The Saints over the Jets.)

37:50—Finally, Mike unveils a treasured Christmas present from years past. No, we’re not talking about the 1983 Red Box Starter Set (although that was another treasured gift)—it’s Dragonriders of the Styx.

41:20—And that’s a wrap, folks! On behalf of everyone here at Wizards of the Coast, have a happy holidays! And as mentioned, if you’d care to share your thoughts and opinions on improving our podcast—an endeavor we constantly strive for—please send them our way at dndinsider@wizards.com.

Thanks for listening! And again, if you have any question for the mailbag, comments on the podcast, or feedback in general—as always, please drop us a line at dndinsider@wizards.com.
