After
a month and a half trekking across the United States, the Dungeons
& Dragons "Find Yourself Somewhere Else" College
Tour staff have come home and begun unpacking their adventuring
gear. But tales of their exploits and the exciting times that
they enjoyed with you while on the road have already begun to
spread through the halls of Wizards of the Coast.

turnout of interested adventurers, both grizzled veterans and
fresh-faced newcomers, was very encouraging, and the success of
the tour stop events definitely keyed upon the enthusiasm that
our attendees brought to the Big White Tent.

the tour showcased Dungeons & Dragons for those who
had never played while bringing together long-time players to
renew their love for the game and introduce them to fellow gamers.
(For more
background information, see our tour announcement.)
Word
of the new D&D game and the tour supporting it spread
across college campuses, local hangouts, diners, bookstores, clubs,
and dorms thanks to local fliers, newspaper ads, and radio spots.
The true test, however, came at each event day when hundreds of
new faces arrived at the tour's big-top tent, eager to see what
the fuss was about and, most importantly, to play.

And
play they did! The tour offered a number of different entertainment
options for new and old players alike, including:
