European Championships
July 14, 15 & 16, 2000
The 'crème de la crème' of European players will compete for the title of European Champion 2000 and a cash purse of 70.000 USD at the third European Championships which will take place on July 14, 15 & 16, 2000 at the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie in Paris.

Tournament Format
Day 1: (All players) Booster Draft (6 rounds, 2 drafts, using stamped cards) - 50 minute rounds
Day 2: (All players) Standard (6 rounds) - 60 minute rounds
Day 3: (Cut to top 8) Standard decks, single elimination - No Time Limit, best 3 out of 5

Side events
Magic players who have not been qualified for the main tournament are kindly invited to take part in the numerous non-stop side events with all kinds of formats and sets, including some in Asian languages. Due to public demand, we will continue the side events on Saturday night.
